KENYA BOYD

Kenya Boyd Born and raised in San Francisco Ca., Kenya Boyd began singing at the young age of 4yrs old in her families home church Little Zion Baptist Church in San Francisco,where she was baptized and was a member of the childrens choir. Growing up in a home full of musically talented siblings (Meesha, Davina and Kenny) and parents (Kenneth and Michelle),Kenya had no choice but to join in and use the gifts that God blessed her with. Kenya was apart of a few family groups that helped build her unique sound as she grew up, such as; The Little Seekers of the Holy Ghost, Sista's and The Boyd Sisters. Through her walk of music ministry she was blessed to minister on her very first recording in year the 2000 with the G.M.W.A. youth choir in New Orleans,LA. Also Kenya has been blessed to share stage with artist such as Dorinda Clark-Cole, Kim Burrell, Eugene Cole, Kiki Sheard, Tonex, V. Michael, Debra Henderson, Brent Jones, Ricky Dillard, Allowyn Price, John P. Kee and a few others. Kenya is currently the directress / worship leader at the First FriendShip Baptist Church in San Francisco, where she is continuing to use her gift of song, teaching and worshiping to help build Gods plan for the church ministries. She is also working on an up coming project which is self titled "Kenya Boyd" and should be released by fall 2008. Her goal is to reach the un-saved, seasoned-saved and new-saved Christians with this project.As this young woman of God continues on with her ministry she prays that God keeps showering his anointing on her and her life so that others may be blessed.
